We  can not imagine how our country has been .The historical record paint the image of our country Haiti. It was a paradise, although we can not see, but it was really contemplating. It’s real to our eyes than ever we believe that Haiti could become the pearl of the Antilles, the paradise!

On January 12 there was an  Earthquake in  Haiti. It  has serious consequences on our country, the consequences, which set back the economy of our country that make children without hope, with thousand and thousands of deaths, adults, elderly, youth, adolescents and children. We also have millions of houses have collapsed, of Hospitals, school, palace, hotels and many others and we can not count them.

Today, we can not count the number of orphaned children in Haiti, “ Restavek “. There are kids lost, disoriented in search of hope, a model of identity. Young people have become adults, they are in search of food, little job for a living wage. They have abandoned their studies and return to the campaign for  a better life. There is so much unemployment, of poverty, so much misery and sorrow. Parents do not know what to do for children, they are obliged to abandon them in  the streets,  homeless and other people see them as restavek. How sad, what despair, what misery! We have no leaders, serious leaders ...

Victims of the earthquake take refuge in the camps where there is poverty and misery. They do not find food,  medicines,  security. The young boys  are searching for food beneath the rubble. they work very hard to win 200 gourdes. The girls have become prostitutes to get food, money. Young children carry babies or become mothers.

The government claims to open the doors of school  but unfortunately there are 90% of schools which are collapsed, of pupils and students who already give up their studies due to the earthquake. In addition, there are teachers, principal who still run school as business, to make more money.
Until today, there are people who do not find further assistance, food, medicines. They are still suffering. Most of our politicians leaders are liars, looters.
Psychologically, fear reigns in the minds of people. Because of the earthquake, people do not want to sleep in their own homes and it’s raining.
I believe that after God Haiti needs honest people, serious leaders, people who have the heart to share, to help the victims, orphans, street children, the restavek, young people and needy children for them to find hope and a smile.

Haiti needs  you  and  I to rise up and we need God ..!
May God bless Haiti.
